was toking abt sum stuff..
wen my teacher told me that
sayg "uncle go straight" while giving directions to the taxi is inappropriate..
coz.. in america.. that wld mean that the taxi driver is nt straight..
n that wld mean an insult to them..
so.. juz imagine.. in singapore..
while giving directions to taxi drivers..
u say, "uncle go straight"
its like s if u're telling the uncle that
'hey! u're gay! pls be straight!"
n the appropriate way is to say
"uncle, pls go alone this road ..... "
get it now?
